The movable seat system, which can be installed in all types of vehicles, facilitates the transfer of elderly or disabled individuals inside and outside the vehicle.

The movable seat system combines with a special wheeled apparatus mounted under it, allowing the seat system to turn into a wheelchair as a whole.

It can be successfully applied to the front left and front right seats in passenger cars, and to the rear side door level in minibus type vehicles. In addition, of course, the size of the person who will use it is also important for the system.

The Carony system consists of three parts: the seat, the wheelbase and the swivel base. The seat, along with the wheelbase, will be a standard wheelchair. Together with the swivel base, the seat becomes a tested and approved car seat. This means that everyone, wheelchair user or not, can sit in the front of the Carony seat, use the car’s original seat belt and enjoy a safe and comfortable ride.

This is where the user sits safely and comfortably. It is the movable part of the Carony that slides with the user between the wheelbase and the swivel base. The seat has many different features for good posture and pressure relief. For example, raising the front of the seat cushion and tilting the backrest. It also has integrated caregiver arms with brakes.

This wheel base together with the seat forms the Carony wheelchair. Details such as footrests, height adjustment lever and parking brake can be found here. It has premium 40cm wheels with disc brakes to make it easy to move around and park safely. The height adjustment lever helps to match the height of the car when docking.

The swivel base replaces the original car seat to allow the wheel base to dock and hold the Carony seat. As the name suggests, it can rotate towards the door opening so the wheelbase can be fixed. Depending on the height and size of your car, the swivel base may look and function differently.

Regardless of how they look and work, all our compatible Swivel bases are crash-tested and certified along with the Carony seat. We conduct these tests according to the same standards as automobile manufacturers.
